Today I left my photo-taking until late in the afternoon, then found the light was all wrong to photograph the subject I had in mind... hmm, now what to do. I took a few photos but wasn't inspired by my surroundings. I had to cross this railway line and as I returned to my car, looked up the line and saw the rays of light. A little tweaking in Lightroom and I'm really pleased with the result.
@portela@fervaudan@octogenarian@k1w1@thistle Thanks everyone for your comments. There's just something about railway lines and travelling by train that's special - maybe because its more of a novelty than the usual travel by road.
Sweet shot, beautiful to see the rays of light. Railway photos always interest me, but this one is very good, the nature surrounding it would almost tell you human society doesn't excist anymore. This could easily be a shot from the world of The Last Of Us
And the railway is always somehow mysterious and exciting.
