Moturiki

I played the tourist today and took our visitors out to a variety of Mt Maunganui and Tauranga sights. This is a view of Moturiki (Leisure Island) from the Mount main beach. The beach is a popular surfing spot when the waves are right - not today, as the sea was very calm. You can walk out onto the island even when the tide is high.

Playing catch-up again as we've been busy with family commitments for the last few days.
