One of my workmates coaches a primary school hockey team and invited us to take some photos of them playing. Today was our first attempt. Having not photographed sports for a while, and using an unfamiliar lens and a few different camera settings than normal, this was a challenging but fun experience. This was my favourite capture of the day. Go, red team!!
Kids sports and I guess any sports are hard to capture. I think it takes some practice. This spring I tried to shoot a couple of my grandsons' soccer games.
