A quick visit to Fergusson Park with @nzkites after picking up a prescription at the chemist this afternoon. I had in mind to photograph landscapes, birds, windsurfers etc, but it was overcast and there was only one lone jetski on the water in the distance.
After taking a few half-hearted shots of various things, I saw these young cricketers on the sports field, so moved a bit closer with my long lens already on the camera.
It looks as though the batsman is lining up his shot, but in fact he had already hit the ball. Unfortunately I didn't get him as sharply focused as I would have liked.
