Nice. Now - two days ago I was walking in the mall and took a few public street shots - a woman (who was nowhere near any frame or shot) approached and was very rudely indignant that I was taking photos ! Was not a nice experience !
@thistle@dbj_365 Thanks for looking and commenting! @portela I have been confronted a time or two in the past so I can imagine how you felt. I try to be very quick and avoid making eye contact. Depending on how brave I feel at the time, if I think I'm going to be spotted and confronted I often won't take the photo, even though it means missing some good ones. Sometimes I ask permission but then you lose the candid feel.
Splendid candid, very well framed. Absolutely love the echo in the window. If this was a quick grab shot you must have an instinctive, natural eye. Fav
@yrhenwr We had just parked the car when I saw the couple standing in the street talking by the sign, yes it was a quick grab shot before I lost my nerve. I took two, in the second one the man had turned to look at me. I didn't see the picture in the window until afterwards! Thanks for the compliment though, hope to develop my eye by more practice. There aren't that many people on the streets here unless there's an event of some kind, so if you're carrying around a digital SLR you stand out. :-(
