There were hundreds of house martins flying over the house yesterday in what can only be described as torrential rain! I think they are leaving for warmer climates now (can't say I blame them)There were four very wet bedraggled ones sitting on the wire and so with the ISO turned up to something silly, I recorded the day....
@claireuk unless they are nesting, they don't normally sit like this...but, the rain was incredible and although it is not the best shot because the light was abysmal, when you click in you can see that the poor little thing is drenched!
