This seemed like a good sign. The window of Kevin's room has a lovely train scene painted on it. He's a huge rail fan and we ride excursion trains as often as we can everywhere we go. The RN at the reception desk for his section painted this and all the other windows on the floor. Each scene is different and it really brightens up the area. Everyone had been very nice but we still don't have any new info. Kevin had CT scans done today but being a Sunday no one's going to look at them until tomorrow. The two doctors who did his washout will take all his xrays and scans to a plastic surgeon at UNC tomorrow to discuss his case and figure out where to send him for his surgery.
@carmichaelbev Oh no this painting is on the window between the patient's room and the hallway. So it gives privacy to the room and art to everyone walking up and down the halls.
What a nice thought to decorate the windows - giving privacy to the patients in the room, along with a nice view to the visitors! Take care of yourself!
