Waiting outside the hospital for my ride after a long exhausting week. We had hoped to be moved yesterday to Walter Reed in Bethesda MD but learned late Friday that the transfer was denied. Of course no one around all weekend to help us figure out what our next step will be. All we do know is that there's not the right surgeon here for Kevin's hand so we have to move somewhere. I'll start tomorrow knocking some heads and trying to get something done. Cross your fingers and wish me luck.
Sorry I haven't had much time to keep up with all of your wonderful photos. I have no Internet access in my hotel room and spend all day at the hospital. I'll catch up soon.
It's been a long journey for you both! Your gray day photo and caption shows how you must be feeling. So sorry you have so much red tape to deal with - hoping you'll be able to get some answers soon - and the right ones! Sending good thoughts and prayers your way! :)
That's a great photo - the flag rising above those dark clouds seems a sign of hope. Hang on in there and I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for some positive action Monday. :)
Oooooo, very moody and perfect for what's happening in your lives right now. Gray clouds, troublesome sky, and the bright hope of our American flag still flying high. Love this one, Christie. Fav!
Oh my gosh, you need to crack some heads down there! What do you mean they don't have a doctor for him? Can you move him yourself? Tom and I will come right down there and kidnap him and find someone to help him. Okay? Sorry, now I've vented. Your picture says it all. Keep your chin up and give Kev a hug for us!
@sandier@sabanford Thanks for the FAVs on this shot and of course for your loving support. You too @carmichaelbev@lauriehiggins I have the best family in the world! I hope we can see you both this summer on Cape Cod.
