Thanks for all your comments. I was so excited at witnessing such a lovely sunset I must have taken about 20 pics within 15 minutes. It's a shame you can only post one picture.
Love the shimmer and the lines of the pier and the bouy line have a very restful effect.
In answer to your qu we have mostly light blue skies here at the moment as its 35C by 8-30am and 47C still at 5pm. I push up the contrast to make the clarity in my pics a bit better because Im using a P&S and the skies just disappear. Soon the rainy season will start and I might be able to shot more than the odd cloud- we're all so over the heat and dust!
