After six hours of driving back home yesterday it started to rain. We were nearing Gatlinburg, Tennessee, one of our other favorite vacation spots. We decided on the spur of the moment to stay there for the night. We didn't get to sight see much, since it was raining, but I was able to snap a photo this morning of this small river that flows through the town.

I've got a similar photo without the flowers of this particular river. Stayed here in 2004 for a week. We watched the fathers teaching their children how to fish in the river!
One of our favorite places to stay as well. Love the Little Pigeon.
