This was taken a few weeks ago in Virginia. I spent a few days with my family. My visit was much too short. I love the time with my Mama and sisters and cherish every fleeting moment.
My sister and husband own a restaurant in Meadows of Dan, a very small community right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've mentioned it on here before. It's a unique restaurant because no one would suspect Mediterranean cuisine in such an "off the beaten path" area. The locals love it and the tourists enjoy finding the nice surprise there in the mountains.
