What you can do with a tripod. Took this photo this morning under dark sky and with my 0.9ND filter. I worked my exposure up to 10 and like the results. I was happy with this one since is was not washed out. I could not tell the difference between a 1, 5, or 10 second exposure so I am posting the 10 second one.
Very nice one Joe, the whites on the fall really come to live with the long exposure in a smooth flow. I'll have to get myself an ND filter as well, looks like you can do some interesting experiments with them.
