This lovely little succulent, which my friend Holli brought to me the week that Selah came home, faithfully blooms every year. Nestled into a basket of pine cones gathered on our walks around the neighborhood in December, this single white flower reminds me that, despite the frost on my windshield this morning, spring is just around the corner!
