I spent a lot of our time in Italy with my camera pointed straight up. Even with a wide angle lens, it was so difficult to capture the awesomeness of the places we visited. This, for example, is the ceiling inside the Vatican Museum. I must have a dozen or so shots like this of the Pantheon, Vatican, Duomo and every other church we stepped inside. The only one I couldn't capture, of course, was the Sistine Chapel, where cameras aren't allowed.
