This was the calm before the proverbial storm--a sick husband means I'm a single mom with four kids under the age of 8 tonight. I thought I understood life as a single mom with my two, but in this case, two times two doesn't equal four. No, two times two equals at least 12. I'm so grateful they like each other, because it may be chaos, but at least it's chaos with lots of fun and laughter.
lovely capture, Great POV.
I feel this way when I'm occasionally babysitting 2 of my nieces at once, I have them one at a time all the time, but when it's two I feel like i'm wrangling 5 kids not just two.. lol
@elishajae Thanks! I was happy to get the bookcase in the background. And when I went from being a single mom of one to a single mom of two, I realized that, when it comes to kids, it's about multiplication, not addition! When I got married and added my husband's two, well, we are definitely outnumbered!
@heather4528 Thanks! I don't use photoshop--this was a color manipulation in Lightroom. I have a few toner presets that I like (including one called mocha), but I can't remember if I used one on this photo.
