I think there's something magical about the way her face is lit in this photo. I knew the second I shot it that, although the pose is nothing special (waiting her turn to practice a header), the early evening sun made her look as if she was lit from within. I talk about golden hour so much that our kids shout, "Golden Hour!" as soon as they see that telltale golden light.
