Before

I can't say that I deviate too far from a mostly healthy diet, but there's always room for improvement. This weekend I'm dusting off the juicer and hitting the reset button.
Its fantastic that you are starting with juices, just remember that the maximum per day should not be more than 1 glass (because you lose all the fiber).
The other day we were studying this new trend of smothies that in most cases is healthier because there are taking it instead of bakery stuff, but chewing and having solid foods keeps you full for longer (as the liquids past directly to the intestine, and the digestion is faster).
I am not a nutritionist so dont take me seriously hahahaha

@sanaaijaz Thanks for the input! (love your user name, by the way!) And you're spot on about the drawbacks to juicing (I'm a health and fitness writers, so you can take me seriously--ha!). The fiber is definitely lost, but it's a challenge to consume that many nutritious foods in whole form. Fortunately, my diet is pretty solid. I look at the juice like a multivitamin--a little extra insurance that you're getting some good stuff (plus, my kids will drink it). I like to have something to sip on, so I'm thinking this might be a good substitute for an evening glass of wine. :-)

Healthy is as healthy does, (to paraphrase Forrest Gump). Love juicing.
