@vignouse Thank you, Richard. No, I don't often use fill flash, unless the shadows are really harsh and the subject isn't moving (I also haven't invested in an external flash because I'm almost always outdoors). I've found that little ones (and often their parents) move too fast for flash, so I shoot on continuous. Depending on the scene, I'll adjust for highlights and then pull up shadows later (which is what I did here).
