My dad planted mandevillas on our patio recently. They're shape reminds me of beautiful trumpets. As I was shooting them, I finally figured out why the color red can be hard for my camera to photograph. I needed to turn down my camera's saturation otherwise the red will overexpose. Learning as I go.
I love the simplicity of this shot-flower pictures always make me smile (i think I have too many of them in my album!) The color in this picture is stunning!
