Tried using carbonated drink to add bubbles to the popsicle I photographed last week, but I’m a bit disappointed with my results. Not entirely sure what happened, but there were way too many bubbles and the ice cream made the soda fog up. I tried waiting a bit for the bubbles to settle but then the ice cream stated to melt away, and then I ran out of soda :(
Still, I’m not giving up! Next time I’ll try adding the soda first and then dunk the popsicle in. Not sure if this will work. I’ll do some more research but if you have any tips, I’ll truly appreciate it.
Wasn’t going to post this shot but decided to anyway because it’s motivating me to try again (however I'll make sure to get it right before posting another, don't wanna clog up my project and your recent activity feeds with wet popsicles. haha).
I do like the addition of the bubbles. I sympathize with your story (made me laugh) but I don't think this is better than you are giving youself credit for.
@lynnb - Cool, I agree that it's much more interesting. It just felt like the bubble went crazy! I guess they like ice cream too. haha. Anyway really glad to know that it was more successful than I thought.
@kimshots - Thank you so much Kim! It was kind of funny the way things turned out...at least after my frustration settled. haha.
