I used to love curling up licorice into a round circle as a kid. Little did I know how tough it would be to photograph it! It had a mind of it's own!! I'd put the licorice on the red plate, all curled up neatly, and it would quickly unravel on its own. So I used tons of scotch tape underneath to hold it all in place and eventually the red beast submitted ;D
