(Day 330) - Need a Recharge?

Going for another black and white shot today. These are just a few of the chargers I use for my cameras, video games systems, cell phone, and media player. But this isn't even half the chargers we have in the house! Including my family, we have tons more, most of them for old, unused devices. Some of you probably have more. Fortunately some of these can be used for various devices so that helps :)

Was gonna try this shot in color but the wires and plugs looked much better in b+w!
Great idea works well in BW

Lol, an all too familiar sight :) Looks great in b&w, I love the texture of the wood floor.

Isn't it crazy how many things like this we have?!

Cool capture of how wired our lives are. My only thought when I looked at it is that a solid background would have focused my attention even more on the chargers.

@taffy - Thanks so much for the advice Taffy! I kept trying to figure out what I could do to bring out the chargers better but I couldn't really figure it out. A solid background would have totally helped! Definitely gonna try it the next go 'round ;)

@cjphoto
The reason I suggested it is based on feedback I got when I first started the project. The two photos below show the figures against the grain of the floor, versus against a solid white background. It does make a difference -- one of my early lessons on the project! http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-01-23 versus http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-01-26

@taffy - I clearly see what you mean. The plainer background really made those shadows stand out! Thanks for sharing a bit of your experience with me. That was an awesome idea for a photo by the way!
