Today we had a cloudy day, and whenever we have a cloudy day I get more excited for photography. Lighting and exposure can be much easier in cloudy weather so it really motivates me.
The goal in my head today was a photo of a flower and a background to compliment it. I went outside and picked the first rose that truly caught my attention. Now the background was tough. As you may know I like to use clothing for my backgrounds but I don't really wear pink. I had to have pink for this background though...the picture in my mind demanded it. haha. So it was my sister to the rescue! She had plenty of pink blouses and when I saw this one, the colors were just right. Thanks little sis. :)
