(Day 5) - Creepy Leafy

CJ thought he was the first to discover this strange leaf growing on one of our trees. But I told him that I shot it before: During the first and second year of my project (it's been here over 6 years).

We can't believe it's still here...and also can't believe it still has that creepy face. Do you see it? :)
Oh my gosh!! That is unbelievable! CJ got a fabulously clear image of it but your picture proves it has been there for years because of CJ in it.

It's been a long time for you for sure! Always love seeing your creative shots. I'm kinda missing taking my daily photo 😳 after all the anticipation of my first project ending 😂

So impressed with CJ's skill. He's starting to overtake you, I suspect. You must have been a good teacher.

Ready for a NatGeo reportage on the mutant tree...

that is really weird. I am glad you and CJ were able to document it over such a long time.

Monsters never really die, they just go into hibernation. The leaf has great character still.

That leaf is quite creepy looking. It's also kind of creepy that it doesn't fall off and blow away. Weird.

A dead leaf hanging on for 6 years? Maybe the face really belongs to something that doesn't want to let go. Be careful!
