(Day 21) - Frog at the Falls

Fred the Frog is taking a moment to observe some more things in nature, like this waterfall at a park we visited today. This is the same park I visited back in January. We learned that most waterfalls form as streams flow from soft rock to hard rock. The soft rock erodes, leaving a hard ledge over which the stream falls.

Forgot my tripod so we weren't able to capture it smoothly but we still had fun and the sounds of the water was so relaxing. :)
Looks like a beautiful place to sit and ponder life.

Perfect DoF -- Fred looks like he's contemplating.

This is darling! I sense Fred is your alter ego enjoying the places you love to be!

@Weezilou - Haha very true! Fred expresses his relaxing emotions far better than I do in photos. :)

Great perspective giving us both Fred himself and the view he's enjoying.

So inviting, I'm wondering if Fred didn't want to jump in!

I was so busy looking at the gorgeous falls that I struggled to see Fred! I've spotted him now :)

Beautiful setting, good for you guys to be in such a soothing place! :)

Water falling over rocks or in a fountain is one of the most relaxing sounds I know- like the waves at the ocean. Sweet shot! I bet Fred wanted to take a dip!

Aahh! A lovely moment for Fred :-) Do you get strange looks when you are setting up your shots with your 'friends'?
March 8th, 2017
@Cherrill - Thanks Cherrill! I'm normally shooting in quiet locations. Even still, I do sometimes get strange looks from passerby. Haha. Other times people take interest and say, "thats cute" or they ask me questions, especially kids. That's a lot of fun.

What a beautiful view you shared.. I love to watch how the water moves between the stones and listen to it as it falls.

Personally, I think it refreshing to not see the "silky" water....The glistening rocks look great in this shot.

@granagringa - Really? Awesome! I was a bit bummed out that I couldn't get the silky look but I didn't think about that perspective. Thanks much! :)
