I've seen these pipes on my roof but never paid attention to what they do. So I looked it up. Don't know a ton about exhaust vents so I'm not sure if these are the ones that filter out toxic gases or provide air so that the plumbing doesn't stop up. Regardless, that's vital stuff! Who knew that something that seems so mundane can be so important. :)
