Had the idea for this photo at the beginning of the month and finally decided to take it...on the last day of the month. Haha. I really like the idea of something so tall being photographed with all this space around them. Makes them seem so small. :)
Anyhoo, it was awesome practicing negative space and minimalism this month. I love negative space and usually shoot it when I'm in the moment, but forcing myself to do so was tougher than expected. But I did it! It's done!! Now I'm gonna move on to another monthly theme...oh what will it be? Stay tuned. :)
You have done a magnificent job of minimalist/negative space photographing this month. It always seems to be the way that when we find something we like if we have to do it it becomes more tedious. Truly looking forward to whatever you have to offer us for the next month as you always keep it so well entertained
@grammyn - Wow thanks so much for those words of encouragement Katy. That's so true! I actually thought this would be a piece of cake coming off my Paperclip Family...wrong! :P It actually made me lose a bit of motivation but it was a great learning experience in not giving up. Feels good to make it to the end again. Haha. Thanks again Katy!
Ditto to KWind...what a lovely way to conclude the month. You've certainly gotten negative space in the palm of your hand (OK, I couldn't let all my comments for this month go by w/o at least one pun...)
