Back in May, I was on a roll in shooting an entire month of colorful marbles. Actually surprised myself in how many different ways they can be photographed.
Today, took a transparent marble (called 'clearies' by marble enthusiasts) and found a way to reflect a picture of a galaxy of stars inside of it. It took a bit of setup, but eventually got the shot. Thankfully, I didn't lose my marbles! :)
Thanks everyone for all the marble-lous comments! Getting the focus right was probably the hardest part. Forgot to mention that all the bokeh is actually the picture of stars on my computer screen. It became bokeh because of the focus. :D
