(Day 69) - Crimson Red

This week, I'll have some fun photographing the different bougainvillea plants in my area. These little plants are probably one of the most popular in LA because they're so easy to grow & love sunshine. Used to photograph them all the time in my project and I kind of feel like giving them some more attention after that macro shot a few weeks ago.

I like all the different sizes on this branch. It's rare for me to do this but this shot of straight out of the camera, no processing. :)

This bougainvillea is officially named "Crimson Red"
They are very striking but I wouldn't try to prune them.

@grammyn - Thank you Katy! I was so surprised...it's super rare for me to look at my photos and see no work I wanna do to them.

Lovely...We had this growing up and covering our fireplace at the home I was raised in, located in Pacific Palisades.
