CJ is now on the grounds of the Griffith Observatory. The building looks awesome, with domes housing the telescopes. As you can see, lots of people were visiting.
You may not know this, but I don't like to draw attention to myself and crowds also make me nervous. So, sometimes I take CJ's photos with few or even no people around. However, I'm trying to include more people, when possible, to help the landmarks feel more alive.
This was the best angle for the shot, in the middle of the observatory grounds with so many people moving about. I could feel my nervousness growing. Before long, I heard a woman say, "What's that guy doing? Oh look, he's taking a photo of a little Lego dude. So cute." Her boyfriend then exclaimed, "That's so cool!" Another woman was so intrigued that she stood near and watched me for a few minutes. Of course, plenty of kids happily observed CJ taking photos.
Before long, wasn't nervous anymore. It was kinda cool to hear and see the happy responses. Feels nice to overcome my slight fear. Best of all, CJ captured a nice shot of this popular landmark (with people). 🔭😄
Well done to both of you! I struggle with being comfortable if people are watching me take photos too so I understand. Congratulations on making progress with a fear!
First of all I love anything that allows you to look into the sky and see stars, planets and the moon! Secondly, I am so glad to hear your story as I often do not do things like this with Piggy for similar reasons. Maybe I will be a little more brave if the occasion should arise. It looks to me that CJ is a great ambassador for making people smile- bravo to both of you and a fav!

I know the fear will still pop up from time to time but knowing both candid people and all you guys find our photography entertaining and fun gives me much more courage. :)
