CJ was happy to get a photo of an elephant at the LA Zoo. This "little" guy was alone enjoying an afternoon snack. We learned that elephants can eat about 300 pounds of food a day and it takes a while to eat that much food. So they spend about 12-18 hours a day eating!
CJ was impressed. Of course, he doesn't eat that much food. When I think about it though, it probably would take little CJ about 12 hours to eat a human-sized burger! 🐘😋
