Marbles have made quite an impact on my photography over the years. Even did a whole month of marbles once. My favorite is combining marbles with water. It's such a technical challenge—controlling glare, light, color, speed, and patience all at the same time—and I love it!

I'd say you made a splash with this image! So cool that you love the technical challenges. I'm not sure I have a favorite subject to practice on, I like too many different things!
I don't really have a favorite subject but I like simplicity in whatever I shoot. You focus on the technical so much more than I do. I am usually more about the composition! This fabulous photo is a testimony to how much thought goes into all your images!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - Thanks! It probably took around an hour. I was just having fun making splashing in the sink not expecting anything in particular. Got this shot and was super happy!
@grammyn - Thanks so very much, Katy! It's shows that no two photographers are alike. I have a friend who's more into camera gear and can tell me all about them, you're more into and do an amazing job at composition, while I love technical challenges. So cool how varied interests can be in the same field!

In fact, when i was studying photography years ago, I had to redo the abstract assignment over and over because I couldn't make one—everything I photographed kept being recognizable with a story behind it. Guess that's my forte, haha.
