I went out early this morning to try to avoid the heat. This Widow Skimmer was the first thing I saw. I walked through waist high weeds for about twenty minutes following this guy around. I was so excited, I really didn't think about snakes until later. LOL! I have the 365 to thank for that! :0)

Beautiful shot. You're getting really brave with those snakes. I must admit I never think of them until the deed is done, either. When I'm in pursuit of a photo nothing else matters!
Great photo! I know what you mean about not thinking of the snakes... I do the same thing....bug bites, sore knees, walking through snakes and spider webs....the things we do. You got a good pic out of it though..so it was worth it!
