This news just in...

A giant grasshopper landed on Milkweed Planet today. The inhabitants were terrified and hid underneath the pods. If you look in the bottom right corner, you can see one of the the milkweed bugs hiding.

I apologize for "Milking the milkweed plant for all it's worth," but it's getting harder to find insects with the colder nights. So far, there are still new insects and spiders on the milkweed everyday. :0)

Wonder if this guy is a brother to the chap that appeared on the 11th September. I don't blame the little milkweed bugs hiding I think I would to if something this big landed near me. Great capture.

Great closeup of the giant grasshopper. I was surpirsed to see all those black dots in his eye. Is that the way it is or is that a reflection?
