I found a new insect today. When I first saw it, I thought Milkweed Bug, because of its coloring. When I got a closer look, I knew it was something entirely different! It had another insect eating it.
I found out it's a Predatory Stink Bug. It's the most colorful stink bug I've ever seen!
I'm posting another pic of it in my second album. It's a better perspective, but the lighting was too bright. It reminds me of Halloween. :0)

This makes me feel better. I thought the insect was the milkweed beetle common to my yard and I was a bit shocked by its predatory nature. Both shots have great detail!
