Farm Bowl by cjwhite

Farm Bowl

I don't have a ship in a bottle, but I've created a farm in a bowl. :0)

We did get snow today, but it was mixed with rain. There was a cool snow shower early this morning, but it was gone before I could grab my coat and camera.

I took this pic across the field. It's my neighbor's silos and trees. I didn't know I had captured a flock of birds, until I was playing with my editing software.

I gave the pic glowing edges and then used the circle effect. The dark sky made the top of the circle disappear.

Thank you so much for your comments and faves on yesterday's Baby Blue pic!!! :0)

Neat poetic effect.

Awesome, Carolyn! I love the shots you are shooting and the processing you are doing! Even though, your shots from this summer were amazing, it's so cool to see you step out of your box and shoot other things and process them too! Such amazing growth! I love it! And I love seeing your part of the country! :o)

This ...rocks! Fav! Love it. It reminds me of scrimshaw or paper cutting. So finely detailed. It also resembles a moon on it's side...a first quarter moon. or maybe I just think of that as that is what we're learning at school right now.

This is really pretty damned cool! It's like an etched bowl, only the tree is coming out of the bowl. Excellent processing.

I thought this WAS an etched glass bowl in the thumbnail! Very cool edit! I like all the experimenting you've been doing lately:) I've been trying to work a bit more on the technical aspects of my shots as my project nears it's end:)

WOW this is so cool! It reminds me of a landscape underwater, which is what today was! With the miserable weather, there was so much flooding. I was out in it all day and my clothes were soaked. I love this photo so much!!!!! Creative!
