Takeout

I went Christmas shopping with my mom today in a nearby town. As soon as we pulled into a Walmart parking lot, I saw gulls. I started to just go on into the store, but the temptation was too great! I stood in the middle of the parking lot snapping pics of the gulls. I didn't even look around to see if anyone was watching! :0)

I saw this Ring-billed Gull swoop down and pick up some food. When I got it on the computer, I got a really good laugh! The gull has a fried chicken strip. I'm guessing it's from a McDonald's. LOL!

Ring-billed gulls are Tennessee's most common wintering bird. They arrive in late September and depart in early May.

Thank your for your kind comments and faves on my recent pics!!! I can't believe my project is coming to the end soon. This year has flown by! :0)

Fantastic catch

Birds cannot live on chicken fingers alone! What gorgeous focus and smooth colours!

This sort of gives a new meaning to fast food. You have done well to snap this great shot as gulls usually fly pretty swiftly especially if they think there are other gulls about to pinch their snack.
