She never let me get a decent shot of her face. I was really excited to see her anyway! She's a Red-bellied Woodpecker and I've never seen a female in my yard or anywhere on my property. :0)

Aren't woodpeckers tricky to catch! They hop along the tree always moving around it and just out of shot! Good catch and congrats...maybe they will nest nearby.
