She made me jump today, because she jumped when I first came near. It took her awhile to come back out. The camera in her face doesn't seem to bother her, but sudden moves do. :0)
Wow, she is a beauty! Wonderful capture of her. I had one in my yard a few years ago and she made a nest and a few weeks later all these little babies hatched out. It was amazing
WOw! She is lined up perfectly over that "crater!" and she is gorgeous. I hope I see some lynx spiders soon. Is there a secret or any tips you can give me? This is a fav for sure.and, Is that queen anne's lace flower?
@espyetta MaryBeth, I'm seeing them everywhere this year. I've seen them on the wild blackeyed-susans, milkweed, and Queen Anne's Lace. I'm worried that I'll lose them all, If my neighbor decides to cut my hay field. I really want to see another egg sac hatch. :0)
@cjwhite That is nice of you..but yes, you must save some of the field. I hate mowing my lawn now, especially at the lake. I let it get longer and clover is everywhere. And when I mow, I see bugs and spiders and moths and b flies scrambling for cover. I want to say "sorry for doing this" and go get my camera..not keep mowing.
