Co-operation

This male House Sparrow may not be the prettiest bird in the garden, but he was the most co-operative today.

I don't blame the other birds for hiding , because it was really cold and the wind was brutal! I wore my sock monkey hat and my big furry hood! LOL!

I read a fun fact about the House Sparrow. It's the most widely spread wild bird on the planet. That means it's probably familiar to a lot of my 365 friends. :0)

Thank you sooo much for your wonderful comments and faves on my last two bird pics!!! I really appreciate it! Some of you have asked about the lens I'm using. It's a Canon 75-300mm zoom lens. My Mom gave it to me for Christmas and I love it! :0)
You have a way with all things nature, you know that? This is perfect!

I love sparrows - they're the best - cheeky little things - unfortunately in London, where we used to have so many they were almost pests - they have become, in the space of 20 years, an endangered species and you rarely see them ... boo.
