We had more rain today. It finally stopped around lunch time. While I was doing my pic walking, I noticed just how many of the trees and bushes are budding. The warm days and rain have really brought them out. My daffodils have buds, too. My Mom already has blooms on hers. I hope the colder weather that's in the forecast for the weekend doesn't hurt the new buds.
Field Sparrows are my go to bird. I can always get pics of them. There are always lots of them and they aren't skittish. :0)
Thank you for your kind comments and faves on my bird pics this week!!! I saw another butterfly, Monday. That gives me hope that spring will be here soon. I'm ready for butterfly and wildflower pics! :0)
This is so clear and sharp! Your rain came our way....by last half the day, it was pouring pretty good here. I noticed yesterday, as I checked those "Cherry" or berry trees that used to have tons of robins on them, that we have buds starting too! Yay! I have NOT seen a b fly yet.
Wonderful shot! It seems like Old Man Winter is leaving early this year. We saw new leaves and buds on the shrubs along the river during our nature walk on Sunday. Craziness for January-February!
@5unflow3r Thank you, Trina! I do a lot of walking around the place looking for birds and I hang out around the bird feeders. I take lots of pics that go in the recycle bin. I get pics of empty branches, bird butts, and pics with branches in the way to name a few. LOL! :0)
Such a great shot, Carolyn. And such a pretty "go to" bird. The only ones I see around here, which hasn't been much lately, are black. Just don't see as many pretty birds as you or Brian B. do.
No more cats and flutterbys for you xx
