Stately

The Northern Mockingbird is Tennessee's state bird. Mockingbirds have the ability to mimic other birds. They have a vocal repertoire that can include as many as 200 songs.

Mockingbirds can also mimic man-made devices such as musical instruments, cell phones, car horns, and creaky hinges. :0)

This Mockingbird hangs out on the tree that has bird feeders, but it prefers berries and insects.

Thank you so much for visiting my project!!! :0)
Lovely bird! Do you ever put out meal worms for it and other insect loving birds?

What a great shot! :-)

Mockingbirds are fun. I love all the sounds they mimic.
I believe it's male mockingbirds that will sing all night, searching for a mate. And he won't shut up til he finds her....no matter how long it takes. Makes for some noisy nights. LOL
