Veterans Memorial Plaza

When I first arrived at the courthouse this morning for jury duty, I knew I wanted this to be my pic of the day. I had never seen it. It's beautiful!

This is the first time I've posted a pic taken with my point and shoot since I got my Canon Rebel. I left my Rebel at home. I'm really glad I took my P&S or I wouldn't have gotten a daylight shot today.

I was chosen to be on a jury again and we didn't get out until 5 o'clock. I took this at lunch break and it started raining on me the last two shots.

When I got to my truck to come home, it was covered with ice! I don't drive at night, unless I have to. I can't see well, especially if it's raining. It was raining, dark, and icy. I drove slower than my usual granny speed and got home safely. I have to go to court again in the morning. If it's too icy for me to drive, I can call the courthouse and they'll send a sheriff's deputy to pick me up. That will give the neighbor's lots to talk about! :0)

Isn't it fun to see so many new things. What a beautiful statue.

Now, if the sheriff's deputy picks you up tomorrow morning, just make sure and GET A PICTURE!!!!
