He really looks like he's posing for you! Perfect shot with eye contact and all. (Know what you mean by shooting with your gloves on - have about worn through my finger tip of the right hand).
I never realized their beaks were so thick. I agree about the weather, on March 24th of last year, I took my first shot of a robin's nest. Clearly this year we are not having baby hatching weather.
@sabanford Thank you! I found some nice birdseed on sale that has sunflower seeds, raisins, and nuts. It smells yummy like trail mix. Woody is partial to the nuts. :0)
