I snapped this at church this morning with my cell phone during the children's sermon. Our pastor was teaching them about how God doesn't look at the outward appearance, but looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7) Then he took off his shoe to show a hole in his sock (the kids laughed) and explained that on the outside he looked fine, but with his shoe off, there was a hole no one could see. I love how he gets down on their level. It's not necessary to comment on this.... it was just a sweet part of my day.
