Welcome to Ukraine - Bread & Salt

We were welcomed to Ukraine several times with their tradition of offering a beautiful loaf of bread with salt. After the welcome ceremony, we would break off a piece of the bread and dip it in the salt that was on top of the loaf and eat it. Such a special tradition.
