Another attempt at capturing the Milky Way tonight. This one isn't quite as dramatic as the first, but I wanted to see how much the image would suffer if I tried shooting closer to home where there's more light pollution. It's pretty noticeable.
This is shot at close to 9000 feet in the Wasatch mountains looking toward Heber City, the glow you see on the bottom right horizon. Oh, and the dotted line going out of frame on the right side just up from Heber City? Aliens, of course.
