I took one photo today.

It was probably right around freezing when I went to check the mail. My fingers hurt and my cheeks ached before I was even halfway there (a distance that, I assure you, is not far at all). My photography plans went up in smoke as I reached the mailbox. There was no way I was going across the street or looking for flowers or slugs or anything else interesting!

On the way back I spotted a single ladybug on the ground, half hidden between the rocks. With a sigh I bent down to take a single shot before hurrying back to the warmth of walls and heating pads and blankets.

So much for my avoidance of the ladybugs, I guess.
