After months of pestering we finally made it down to the park by the river.

It was late and chilly but absolutely beautiful. The sky was covered in thick clouds, only a few bands of blue showing through. The river was low, so much lower than it was last time we were there, and soft sandy beaches had popped up all over the place because of the mild flooding.

We weren't alone there, a handful of people passed with their dogs or sat down in the rocks fishing, but at times it felt like we were. We saw pigeons, spiders, a hawk, and a few groups of geese retreating to their warm winter homes.

The evening was quiet, calm, and peaceful.

Just what we needed.
Fav - it sounds great!
