I went to the swamp today, but I guess I was there too early. There were no gators out. I'll have to try again another day.

Very nice colors in this. Great moss covered water, and I like the tones of green. Well done!

@clmiller I lived in Louisiana for years, then moved to Texas. Swamps have more wildlife to take photos of, up here it is usually just too hot and dry in the summer.

@grannysue There are some amazing birds roosting in the tress on the other side of the swamp. I wish I had a bigger lens. Maybe for Christmas :) As you already know, it's hot here but not dry! Lots of humidity!

This is so wonderful! I've visited the swamps near Galveston once and did see some gators and armadillos there. Just love that southern landscape!
